The Lantern Parade, which started as a fund-raising event for The Vanishing Elephant, has been taken to the town’s heart and now involves thousands of people each year.
The Camden Road Photographic Competition attracted 82 magnificent entries and provided some moving and amusing images of the area.

All workshops are open from 10.00am to 3.00pm (unless otherwise stated).
Standard lanterns take at least an hour and a half to make, so the last lanterns are begun at 1.30pm.
