This fully devised play by local people marks Claque Theatre’s 40th anniversary and celebrates Rusthall’s iconic landscape.

Perfomed by a cast of 50 on and around Toad Rocks it tells the story of four reluctant local heroes who unexpectedly find themselves in a parallel world under the giant Toad. Here they have to endure the evil forces of King Swelter before meeting the Stone People: an ancient civilization as old as the Earth itself.

Led by 11-year-old Matilda, our heroes help the Stone People retrieve precious memories and expel the malevolent King from his poluuted underworld kingdom.

This is a story inspired by our children, a journey of discovery about whether the dreams to make the world what we want, can be realised.

One thing’s for certain – we can’t do it alone.
