Rather than reading alone and then discussing round a table, it is about the joy of sharing favourite pieces of literature, poetry or prose and bringing them to life through performance.
Regular informal evening sessions of about an hour – normally on the first Thursdays of the month after Choir starting around 8.30-8.45 pm – based around an idea and you’re invited to bring along a favourite piece to read.
These will be combined with several ‘Nose in a Book Night’ themed performance events celebrating all things books, and including the Choir and Impro Group. And if you don’t want to read in public, still join in and contribute a piece for somebody else to read out.
